Chair of Artificial Intelligence in Protein Science
Application deadline:
- Develop and maintain computational methods, algorithms, and machine learning models.
- Build and manage software tools, pipelines, and web applications to support research workflows.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews and communicate research progress regularly to the group.
- Actively participate in regular group meetings, discussions, and collaborate with team members.
- Present research findings in diverse academic settings, including seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Create high-quality figures and visualizations.
- Prepare, write, and publish scientific manuscripts arising from your research.
- Contribute to the tutoring of university-level courses.
- Mentor bachelor and master students when appropriate.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, with an excellent academic record.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience in PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of molecular biology and machine learning methods.
- Proven experience in data analysis, statistics, and working with biological databases.
- Genuine interest in scientific research, with a curious, well-organized, and self-driven mindset.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
