The Dumeaux lab (https://lab-dumeaux.science/) uses high-throughput genomics assays (incl single-cell genomics and metagenomics) coupled with data science to predict benefit from lifestyle and therapeutic interventions. One primary focus is on the investigation of the individual’s immune response and microbiome.
The lab is (re)opening in April 2022 at Western University, London, Ontario (Canada). As we embark in this new journey, we have several graduate positions available for individual interested in health data science and single-cell molecular profiling.
Possible research topics include:
- Identifying signatures to predict treatment response in breast cancer
- Single-cell genomics of immune responses to cancer
- Microbial single-cell transcriptomics
BSc (for MSc position), MSc (for PhD position). Applicants with a background and/or prior experience in data sciences, immune or microbial genomics will be preferred.
How to Apply
Prospective students should send their C.V. along with 2-3 references to vanessadumeaux@gmail.com. Please ensure that you describe your previous training, research experience or other items you deem relevant to the position.
