The following is a list of the CBW core faculty, and past and present instructors and invited lecturers.

Current Faculty and Instructors
She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 with a dual degree in Computational Biology and Chemistry. She is interested in developing machine learning models for improving current strategies of neoantigen design and prioritization for cancer immunotherapy.
His research focuses on statistics and bioinformatics for metabolomics, microarray and next generation sequencing (RNA-seq) data analysis and integration. Some of the tools he developed in the past include MetaboAnalyst for statistical analysis of metabolomics data, MSEA for metabolite set enrichment analysis, MetPA for metabolic pathway analysis, ROCCET for ROC curve based biomarker analysis, and NetworkAnalyst for data integration and network analysis. His general interest is high-throughput omics data analysis using a variety of statistics, machine learning and data visualization technologies.
Mai obtained Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from McMaster University in 2019. Her Ph.D. research focused on metabolomics of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. Later, she worked as a postdoc under Dr. Jeff Xia at McGill University and became more familiar with R programming and computational work in the field of metabolomics. Currently, she works under Dr. David Wishart to make metabolomics-based personalized health assessment more accessible in partnership with an industrial partner.
Vicki is a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto studying invasive species in the subarctic, from the tundra to the boreal forest, and the effect of climate change and anthropogenic disturbances on invasive species at high latitude. In addition to doing summer fieldwork and analyzing those data, she also teaches “Quantitative Methods in R for Biology”, a third-year undergrad statistics course, and has taught and assisted dozens of workshops to students with a wide range of coding and statistics knowledge.
