The Centre for Computational Medicine (CCM) is currently developing several exciting projects in close collaboration with geneticists and clinicians. These include RareConnect (www.rareconnect.org), a patient facing portal for rare diseases, which aims to decrease the isolation felt by people with rare diseases globally while offering rich longitudinal data for research; and EpigenCentral, a web portal for the classification and diagnostics of childhood disorders using machine learning methods. The successful candidate will be working as part of the web-development team.

Integrating novel machine learning and automated data analysis methods as they are being developed and validated by our research collaborators. Interoperation with various project and code management tools in the biomedical ecosystem. Performance analysis and improvements, targeting scalability to very large patient databases. Extensive security to support sensitive patient data.
