BCB420H1S – Computational Systems Biology (50% FCE of Full Course) Current approaches to using the computer for analyzing and modeling biology as integrated molecular systems.

Preference in hiring will be given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 4.12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.

Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.


Description of duties:  Delivery of lectures prepared by other instructors in this course.  Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examination in accordance with University regulations as described in the Faculty of Arts & Science Academic Handbook


Qualifications:  Teaching experience at the university level required, demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching preferred  Prior experience teaching this or similar course at university level required  PhD in Bioinformatics or related field required  R Programming is required
