Two postdoctoral positions in machine learning of biomolecular interactions

Research will be aimed at developing deep learning architectures to model biomolecular structure and to predict protein-protein interactions. Depending on the candidate’s interests, the project can be directed towards either systems biology or computational protein design. Multiple opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration are available for both research directions.

One of the two positions includes undergraduate teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate for that position will be in charge of two courses every year, chosen from the offering of the College of Arts and Sciences.

  • Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline (completed or near completion)
  • expertise in at least two of these fields: molecular modeling, structural bioinformatics, machine learning
  • excellent proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • How to Apply

To apply, please send an electronic version of your curriculum vitae (including a list of publications) and the coordinates of two referees to Prof. Lamoureux ( The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance.
