M.Sc. Position in Bioinformatics

The successful applicant will perform analysis and interpretation of next generation sequencing data, including gene expression and small RNA analysis, de novo transcriptome and genome assemblies, and 16S microbial genomics. Prior experience with the various steps of bioinformatics pipeline is preferred to ensure a quick start to the research. This will be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience across diverse organisms and computational techniques with a limitless potential for publications. Funding options are available for both Canadian and international students.
