Post Doctoral Fellow at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Gallinger

The fellow will lead bioinformatic analysis of exome and genome sequencing of pancreas and colorectal cancer patients with the objective of discovering genes that cause familial pancreatic and colorectal cancer. The fellow will be associated with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Reseaarch including access to bioinfomatic resources.

Applicanats must have a M.Sc.,PhD or equivalent experience in bioinformatics or computer programming. Experience with tools for next generation sequencing analysis (NovoAlign, SAMTools, GATK, etc) and fluencey with Unix will strengthen applications.
